Cassida's Taxidermy drop off and pick up policy.

Guidance for Storing and Dropping Off Game

The quality of your specimen will determine the quality of the finished product.  It is difficult to inspect most mounts upon arrival due to their frozen state.  Please take care in the freezing process. All fish should be wrapped in a wet towel, being careful to make sure the fins are protected from freezer burn.

Ducks and birds should be wrapped tightly in a plastic bag.  Be sure to stuff the mouth with paper towel and tuck the head and feet as close to the body as possible.

All big game must be kept cold or frozen.

Requirements for Drop Off

Take care not to lose the seal or tag that you receive from the tagging station.  I must have the number before I can accept your trophy.  Also, a valid Maine Big Game License is required at drop off.
